Башня-колокольня Иоанна Златоуста

The John Chrysostom Bell Tower stands 53.4 meters tall on Red Hill and contains a small chapel within its base. From the top, visitors gain unobstructed views across Zlatoust and the rolling mountain landscape of the Taganay region.

The structure was built in 2006 to commemorate 1600 years since the birth of Saint John Chrysostom. Financing came from local factories and contributions by residents during the same period.

The bell tower takes its name from Saint John Chrysostom and merges religious symbolism with the city's modern landscape. Visitors notice how the structure, despite its recent creation, feels as though it has long belonged to the identity of the place.

Access to the observation platform is available year-round, with multiple stairways leading to the main viewing deck. Clear days offer the best visibility for surveying the mountain range and spotting landmarks across the valley.

The bronze bell housed inside weighs 1300 kilograms and was cast at a distant factory before being transported to this location. This massive metal object created a tangible connection between distant industrial centers across the Urals region.
