Lermontov museum-reserve

The Lermontov museum-reserve is a 19th-century residence in Pyatigorsk that holds the personal belongings and literary works of the celebrated Russian poet. The rooms display original furniture, handwritten manuscripts, and objects connected to his daily life.

Mikhail Lermontov lived in this house from 1837 to 1841 while staying in the Caucasus region. The residence was converted into a museum in 1912 to preserve the memory of his life and literary contributions.
