Sunny Mys is an archaeological site on the right bank of the Uda River, across from Sannomyssk village in Buryatia. It covers roughly one hectare and contains multiple overlapping layers of human settlement.
Archaeological excavations beginning in 1981 revealed multiple settlement layers with the oldest traces from the Paleolithic period. These findings demonstrate continuous human presence across different prehistoric epochs in Eastern Siberia.
