Kyiv Bus Fleet No. 7 is a transport facility in the DVRZ district with Soviet modernist design. The circular structure spans 160 meters in diameter and is supported by a central 18-meter tower that holds up a tent-like roof covering the entire building.
The facility was completed in 1973 and was designed to house hundreds of buses during its operational years. In April 1986, the fleet played a critical role in evacuation efforts following the Chernobyl disaster.
The building showcases 1970s Soviet industrial engineering with its cable-stayed roof design and glass tube exterior walls that create an unusual appearance and let natural light flood the interior.
