Peremoga Park, Urban park in Dnipro district, Kyiv, Ukraine.
Peremoga Park is a large green space spanning more than 60 hectares with sections of pine forest, a decorative lake crossed by arched bridges, and an island in the center. The grounds include playgrounds, sports areas, an indoor skating rink, and a tall observation wheel for views across the city.
The park was established in 1965 as a green space for the growing city. A major monument was built there in 1967 using soil gathered from military burial sites across multiple countries.
The park serves as a memorial space where sculptures dedicated to World War II stand as reminders of historical events that shaped the city. Visitors come here to reflect and remember the past.
The park is located near Darnitsa metro station, making it easy to reach by public transport. Seasonal changes affect what you can do here, with ice skating available in winter and boat rentals in warmer months.
Visitors can rent catamarans on the lake and watch ducks and seagulls from the water, adding an interactive element to the visit. Squirrels roam freely throughout the grounds, making the space feel open and alive with activity.
