The 66-hectare green space contains a pine forest, decorative lake with arched bridges, island, and various recreational facilities for outdoor activities.
The park, established in 1965, features the Kurgan of Immortality monument built in 1967 with soil from military graves across the Soviet Union and Europe.
Multiple sculptures commemorate World War II, including the Mother-Widow Monument from 2012 and the People of Victory composition installed in 2016.
Located near Darnitsa metro station, the park provides playgrounds, sports fields, an indoor skating rink, and a 30-meter observation wheel.
The central pond allows visitors to rent catamarans while observing ducks and seagulls, with squirrels running freely throughout the park grounds.
