Venetian bridge in Kyiv

The Venetian Bridge spans across the Venetian Canal, connecting Veneziiskyi Island with Dolobetskyi Island in the eastern section of Hydropark. The structure is approximately 144 meters long and crosses a complex network of waterways and water channels.

Architect A. Ilyashenko and engineer V. Koval designed this bridge, which opened in 1966 as part of Kyiv's urban development program. The project was an important addition to the infrastructure in Hydropark and helped develop the recreational area.

The bridge serves as a gathering place for photographers and artists who come to capture images of the surrounding water and green spaces. People enjoy using this spot to document the park from different viewpoints.

The bridge is most easily reached through the Hydropark metro station, which is nearby and accessible for both local residents and visitors. It is advisable to wear sturdy footwear and visit during good weather to get the best experience.
