Kyiv Palace for Children and Youth

The Kyiv Palace for Children and Youth is a palace of culture in Kyiv with over 12,000 square meters of space featuring specialized classrooms, auditoriums, and artistic areas for educational activities. The building houses classrooms for different subjects alongside performance venues all in one structure.

This palace moved into its current building in 1965, designed by architects Abraham Miletsky and Eduard Bilsky on the site of the former St. Nicholas Military Cathedral. The location marks a shift from religious to educational use of the grounds.

The interior features mosaics and sculptures created by Ukrainian artists from the mid-20th century that shape how the space looks and feels. These artworks tell a story about the region's artistic traditions through their visual presence.

A 50-meter flagpole made of titanium alloy stands prominently in front of the main building with its modern construction. An astronomical observatory dome rises from the roof and overlooks the park, offering a vantage point for sky observation.
