The Gaslight Theatre stages ten different productions annually, including regular season shows, teen performances, and a summer musical at their North Independence location.
Founded in 1966 as Enid Community Theatre, the company moved to its current location in 1989, occupying the former Billings Theatre building from 1924.
The organization extends beyond traditional theatre by offering free Shakespeare performances in Government Springs Park and maintaining a black box theatre for special events.
The theatre's box office remains open Tuesday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM, providing tickets for both main stage productions and special events.
Opening nights feature a dedicated cocktail hour where attendees gather for appetizers and desserts before experiencing the performance.
