McElroy Auditorium, Multipurpose arena in Waterloo, United States
The building features an art deco lobby spanning 4,000 square feet and contains 234 arena style box seats throughout the main performance space.
Originally constructed in 1919 as The Hippodrome, the building changed its name to McElroy Auditorium in 1965 to honor local broadcaster R.J. McElroy.
The venue earned recognition in the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame after hosting performances by Johnny Cash, KISS, Aerosmith, and Willie Nelson.
The facility maintains six dressing rooms, five box office windows, and four large concession areas with a maximum capacity of 7,000 people for concerts.
The arena includes a modified milk truck that functions as a mobile beer station equipped with eight tap lines for special events.
