National Museum of Transportation

The National Museum of Transportation is a railway, automobile, aircraft, and maritime museum in Kirkwood with over 190 vehicles spanning different eras. The grounds include both outdoor and indoor exhibition areas where visitors can see trains, cars, and planes up close.

The museum preserves a historic railroad tunnel from 1853, one of the earliest railroad tunnels west of the Mississippi River. The collection documents roughly 150 years of American transportation development from that period forward.
