Prospect Hill Cemetery

Prospect Hill Cemetery is a burial ground in Millis spanning about 18 acres with both forested and open areas featuring numerous granite markers and winding pathways. The grounds are organized into distinct sections with different periods of use and maintenance.

The cemetery was established in 1714 and preserves original granite steps and a memorial boulder marking where the town's first meeting house once stood. In the 1930s, the grounds expanded when a local family donated additional land to accommodate more burials.

The cemetery includes a Hebrew section called Nevay Nachman, consecrated in 1969, showing the important role of the Jewish community in the town's history. A separate area honors military veterans, reflecting how the community remembers those who served.
