Van Veghten's Bridge, Road bridge spanning the Raritan River in Bridgewater Township, United States
The bridge carries four lanes of Somerset County Route 533 across the river, connecting the Finderne section of Bridgewater with Manville.
Built in 1896 with stone arches and a Pratt through truss for the main span, the bridge underwent significant modifications in 1934.
French General Comte de Rochambeau and his army crossed the original bridge in 1781 during their march toward the Battle of Yorktown.
The bridge serves as a primary connection point between Bridgewater and Manville, with North Main Street continuing on the Manville side.
British Lieutenant Colonel John Graves Simcoe and the Queen's Rangers destroyed eighteen American boats near this location in October 1779.
