Watkins Glen State Park

The park features a 120-meter deep gorge carved by Glen Creek, containing 19 waterfalls connected by stone bridges and natural pathways.

Originally operating as a private tourist attraction from 1863 to 1906, the New York State acquired the land and established it as a state park.

The Gorge Trail spans 1.5 miles through stone stairs and natural formations, representing a significant hiking destination in the Finger Lakes region.

Three main trails offer different perspectives of the gorge: the Gorge Trail follows the stream, while Indian and South Rim trails provide elevated views.

Cavern Cascade, measuring 52 feet in height, allows visitors to walk behind the waterfall while following the main gorge path.
