The 74,000-square-foot clubhouse spans three levels at 750 feet elevation, offering views of Mount Haleakala and both coastlines of Maui island.
Frank Lloyd Wright designed this structure in 1957 as a residence for Arthur Miller and Marilyn Monroe, but construction occurred in 1993 following adaptations by John Rattenbury.
The interior displays Hawaiian artworks, including pieces by Herb Kawainui Kane and featherwork creations by Jo-Anne Kahanamoku-Sterling, representing local artistic traditions.
The upper level contains a lobby, the largest pro shop in Hawaii, multiple meeting rooms, dining areas, and professional kitchen facilities.
The structure incorporates copper fascia around dome roofs with most spaces built underground, integrating naturally into the mountain landscape.
