Kirche zum Heilsbronnen, Gothic Revival church in Schöneberg, Germany
The Kirche zum Heilsbronnen is a Gothic Revival brick building with clear lines and geometric proportions throughout. The tower rises to about 68 meters, and the interior features vaulted ceilings with pointed arches.
The building was constructed between 1910 and 1912 under architect Ernst Deneke's design. After a fire in 1943, it underwent extensive restoration work that lasted until 1956.
The congregation uses this space for regular services and community gatherings that shape local life. The organ's sound plays a central role in how people experience the building during worship.
The building sits on Heilbronner Straße and is easily walkable from local transit. Not all areas are always open to visitors, so checking ahead is helpful to ensure access to the interior.
Hidden in the roof structure is an inscription from 1911 left by workers to mark their contribution to construction. Such marks reveal personal details from the building phase that few visitors encounter.
