Aalborg Søfarts- og Marinemuseum

The museum displays naval equipment, maritime instruments, and uniforms across 15,000 square meters of indoor and outdoor exhibition space.

Established in 1992 by Prince Henrik of Denmark, the museum centers around the submarine Springeren, which served in active duty until 1989.

The exhibitions document the maritime traditions of Aalborg, featuring collections of naval memorabilia and artifacts from the Aalborg Værft shipyard.

Located at Vestre Fjordvej 81 in Aalborg, the museum offers guided tours through the submarine and torpedo boat exhibits throughout the year.

Visitors can explore the living conditions of the 33-member crew inside the Springeren submarine, examining their quarters and operational stations.
