The beach extends for 400 meters in length and 40 meters in width, featuring fine golden sand along the Mediterranean coastline of Castellón.

The beach area developed into a principal coastal destination during the growth of Spanish tourism in the latter half of the 20th century.

Local residents and visitors gather at this beach throughout summer for traditional Mediterranean activities including swimming, sunbathing, and water sports.

The beach provides facilities including showers, toilets, lifeguard services, sun lounger rentals, and dedicated accessibility paths for visitors with reduced mobility.

Natural freshwater springs emerge through the sand from an underground aquifer, creating an unusual phenomenon where fresh and salt water meet.
