Africa Alive!

Africa Alive! is a wildlife park in Kessingland featuring more than 80 acres of land dedicated to African animals including lions, giraffes, meerkats, and white rhinoceros. The animals are distributed across themed zones designed to reflect their natural environments.

The facility was converted from a previous wildlife park in 2006 and has since focused on specializing in African species. This shift represented a significant change in the park's mission and direction.

The wildlife park supports education about African animals through interactive programs and conservation partnerships that visitors can learn about during their visit. You can observe how staff interact with animals and understand their role in protecting these species.

The park offers safari train rides and feeding demonstrations that allow visitors to experience the animals up close. Accessible facilities are available throughout the grounds to accommodate all guests.

A special feature is the Lemur Encounters zone where ring-tailed lemurs roam freely and visitors can walk among them in close proximity. This hands-on experience stands out as one of the park's most memorable attractions for many guests.
