Blithfield Hall

Blithfield Hall is a country house that blends architectural styles from different periods, reflecting how it evolved over time. The building combines Elizabethan elements with Gothic details added in the 1820s, along with ornate interior decorative plasterwork.

The house remained in the Bagot family's hands for several centuries before being sold to a water company in the mid-20th century. This sale marked the end of a long family ownership and introduced new uses for the estate.

Every September, the Abbots Bromley Horn Dance performers conduct their traditional ceremony at Blithfield Hall, continuing a centuries-old local custom.

The estate is known for originating a distinct breed of goat that was named after the family. These animals became so important to the family that they appear on their coat of arms.
