John F. Kennedy Memorial, Bronze memorial in City of Westminster, England.
A bronze bust of President Kennedy stands in the lobby of International Students House on Great Portland Street behind glass doors.
The memorial was unveiled on May 15, 1965, by Robert F. Kennedy and received funding from 50,000 Sunday Telegraph readers who donated £1 each.
The sculpture by Jacques Lipchitz combines bronze and granite materials, representing an intersection of American leadership and British public commemoration.
The memorial relocated to International Students House in April 2019 following vandalism at its original location near Great Portland Street underground station.
The bronze casting exists as a singular piece in London, with a different Kennedy bust by Lipchitz installed at Military Park in Newark, New Jersey.
