North West Surrey Synagogue, Reform synagogue in Weybridge, Surrey, England
This synagogue occupies a dedicated building on Oatlands Drive and serves as a central place for Jewish families in the region. It also provides burial rights through the Jewish Joint Burial Society, with options available at Western Cemetery in Cheshunt.
The congregation was founded in 1968 and first met in Finnart House until 1981. It then moved through several temporary locations before settling into its current building in 1987.
The congregation follows Reform Jewish practices and draws members from many different backgrounds. Regular services and community events shape how people here practice their faith together.
The location is easy to reach and provides information about religious services as well as burial and cremation options. Visitors should check in advance about service times and any special events being held.
Since 2017 Rabbi Kath Vardi has led the congregation and continues a line of respected religious leaders. The rabbi's work shapes the spiritual life of the community in meaningful ways.
