St George's Church

St George's Church is a modern Anglican worship building with a distinctive arrow-shaped design topped by a tall concrete spire. The interior features curved seating made from African wood that surrounds the central altar, creating an intimate worship space.

The church was built in 1964 to serve the growing community in Letchworth's planned expansion, replacing an earlier parish church. It represents the post-war shift toward modern architecture for religious buildings.
