Ilkley Town Hall, Victorian town hall in Ilkley, England
The Town Hall features a symmetrical composition with Ionic columns, mullioned windows, and steep hipped slate roofs constructed from local ashlar stone.
The foundation stone was laid in 1906, and after overcoming construction delays including a fatal accident, the building officially opened in April 1908.
The King's Hall within the complex regularly presents touring productions, music concerts, comedy shows, and serves as a central venue for the Wharfedale Music Festival.
The building contains the Town Council chambers, Visitor Information Centre, and multiple meeting rooms available for community gatherings and administrative functions.
The adjacent Winter Garden, added in 1914, features a glass canopy, lantern roof, and sprung wooden floor designed specifically for performances and celebrations.
