Princes House, Grade II listed office building in North Street, Brighton, England.

Princes House is a listed building with a steel frame and red brick cladding located on North Street in Brighton. Its facade features decorative mosaics, and the structure contains 34 residential apartments along with ground-floor commercial spaces.

Built in 1936 as headquarters for Brighton & Sussex Building Society, the building reflects the architectural style of that period. The Norwich Union insurance company later took over the space and used it for their operations.

The building mixes industrial materials with traditional architectural details, reflecting how 1930s designers combined old and new styles. Visitors can see this blend in the decorative mosaics and brick surfaces that shaped the look of that era.

The building sits roughly ten minutes on foot from Brighton train station and is easy to reach by walking. The mix of residential and commercial spaces makes it an active spot to pass by and explore.

The top floor features an alternating pattern of narrow and projecting windows that stands out from street level. This detail makes the building instantly recognizable when viewed from below.
