Most Odrzański w Krośnie Odrzańskim

The Most Odrzański is a steel bridge spanning the Oder River, measuring 164 meters long and 12 meters wide. It is supported by pillars clad in granite that are anchored in the riverbed.

The construction company Beuchelt and Company from Zielona Góra built this steel truss structure between 1903 and 1905. It replaced an older wooden structure in Dutch style that had previously crossed the river.

The bridge became a focal point for local celebrations, particularly during the city's millennium festivities in 1905. It joins two districts of town and remains a central crossing point in daily life for residents.

The bridge is part of National Road 29 and serves as a key crossing for vehicles and pedestrians. Access is available via the main road, providing a direct link between the districts.

During the Weimar Republic period, two black eagles decorated the bridge's structure. A tax advisor's horse carriage was the first vehicle to make the official crossing.
