Kingdom of Dreams, Entertainment venue in Gurgaon, India.
Kingdom of Dreams is a recreation venue in Gurgaon, India, spreading across six acres with two theaters hosting elaborate stage productions. The site also includes several dining areas and a recreated street with fourteen pavilions from different states.
The complex opened in January 2010 when Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda of Haryana inaugurated it as the first dedicated theater and entertainment center of its kind in India. It was designed as a permanent location for live performances and cultural shows.
Culture Gully presents fourteen pavilions representing Indian states, where visitors encounter regional traditions, crafts, and local food from different parts of the country. Each pavilion reflects its state through its design and offers a taste of its particular customs and cooking.
The complex sits near IFFCO Metro Station in Sector 29 and opens daily from noon until midnight. Entry requires a fee that varies slightly higher on weekends compared to weekdays.
Nautanki Mahal, the larger of the two theaters, uses retractable seating and hydraulic rotating systems for its large Bollywood shows. This technical setup allows the stage to be reconfigured during performances and shows scenes from different angles.
