Cypress Cove Family Aquatic Park

Cypress Cove Family Aquatic Park is a bayou-themed water facility spanning about 8.5 acres on the outskirts of Chicago. The location features multiple swimming pools, water slides, a lazy river, and zones designed for visitors of different ages.

The park opened in 1997 as a new family recreation facility for the surrounding suburbs. It quickly gained attention in the local community and drew strong visitor numbers from its opening season.

The park takes inspiration from rural mountain lodge design and fills the grounds with native flowers and wild grasses. This creates a countryside feeling that sets it apart from typical urban water facilities.

The park is staffed with lifeguards throughout the facility and has designated areas suited for all ages. Visit during summer months from May through September when the park operates at full capacity.

A winding lazy river stretches for 600 feet through the park, offering a relaxing float for guests. The facility also earned local media recognition as one of the area's top water destinations.
