Nicholas Roerich Museum, Art museum in Upper West Side, Manhattan, US.
The Nicholas Roerich Museum occupies three floors of a townhouse at 319 West 107th Street, displaying 150 paintings that focus on Himalayan landscapes.
Frances Grant established the museum in 1923 to preserve the artistic legacy of Nicholas Roerich, a Russian-born painter who later settled in the Himalayas.
The museum maintains an extensive collection of correspondence and archival materials documenting Roerich's contributions to art, philosophy, and cultural preservation.
Visitors can access the museum Tuesday through Friday from noon to 4 PM and weekends until 5 PM, with free admission and regular concert performances.
The museum building stands next to the Schinasi Mansion, the sole remaining privately owned free-standing residence in Manhattan.
