The Holy Spirit Seminary building features a Romanesque architectural style with modern facilities located on top of Beehive Hill in Brisbane.
Founded in 1941 as Pius XII Provincial Seminary, the institution relocated to Wavell Heights in 2002 before establishing its current campus in 2008.
The seminary functions as a primary educational center for Queensland's future Catholic priests, offering comprehensive theological and pastoral formation programs.
The expanded facility accommodates 31 students and includes residential quarters, educational spaces, and a chapel dedicated to spiritual development.
Cardinal William Levada selected the motto 'convestitum Spiritu Sancto' during the chapel dedication, expressing the seminary's mission of spiritual formation.
