Chen's Ancestral Temple

The Chen's Ancestral Temple contains 19 buildings with nine halls and six courtyards arranged in a symmetrical layout along a north-south axis.

The temple was established during the Qing Dynasty when Chen family members from 72 counties contributed funds for its construction, completing the project in 1894.

The temple displays traditional Chinese architectural elements through wood carvings, pottery decorations, and interior artworks depicting historical tales and folk scenes.

The temple functions as a cultural museum where visitors can explore exhibitions of regional folk art, traditional craftsmanship, and ancestral worship practices.

Stone drums measuring 2.55 meters in height stand at the entrance, accompanied by four-meter-tall door paintings representing protective deities.
