Romon U-Park, Indoor amusement park in Ningbo, China

Romon U-Park is a 200,000 m² amusement park in southern Ningbo, built on the model of Lotte World in Seoul and funded by the clothing manufacturer Romon Group. Its indoor hall rises 57.4 m and holds six themed zones, among them Romantic Avenue, Mystery Land and Festival Plaza, plus the outdoor Legend Island. The park counts over 30 attractions, 30 specialty restaurants and 20 specialty shops.

Romon U-Park was built by the Romon Group, a Chinese clothing manufacturer, at a cost of over 3 billion RMB. Its design is based on Lotte World in Seoul, South Korea. The park opened with a 57.4 m indoor section and the outdoor Legend Island, and its multimedia show 'Zheng He is Coming' was a finalist for the IAAPA Brass Rings Award in October 2015.

Two multimedia shows anchor the park's programming: 'The Source of Light' follows the panda bears Romon and Romie, while 'Zheng He is Coming' recounts the 15th-century admiral's voyages. Both combine projection mapping onto a 30x30-metre pyramid, laser beams, a digital water screen, fire bursts and music by Selcuk Torun.

A monorail system connects the indoor and outdoor areas and adjusts its route based on weather conditions. This system helps visitors move quickly between different sections of the park.

The park's multimedia shows run on 10 Barco projectors aimed at a 30x30-metre pyramid, a 20-metre pyramid stage screen and the back wall, with 12 laser projectors, 48 moving lights, 20 flame bursts and an 18-metre digital water screen synchronised from two video servers. In October 2015 the show "Zheng He is coming" was a finalist for IAAPA's Brass Rings Award.
