Our Lady of the Assumption Cathedral

Our Lady of the Assumption Cathedral is a Catholic place of worship in Ningbo featuring Gothic-style architecture with ornate stained glass windows and detailed altar decorations. The building displays traditional religious iconography and classical design elements throughout its interior spaces.

The cathedral was established in 1872 by French Vincentian missionaries who brought Catholic traditions to Ningbo. Following a fire in 2014, the building underwent major restoration that finished in 2018, bringing back its original character.

The cathedral serves as the central place of worship for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Ningbo, celebrating masses and religious ceremonies throughout the year.
