Galerie Brockstedt represents both classical modernist works and contemporary paintings and sculptures in a dedicated exhibition space at Mommsenstrasse 59.
Hans Brockstedt established the gallery in 1957 in Hanover before expanding to Hamburg in 1959 and adding a Berlin branch in 1992.
The gallery exhibits notable German artists from the 1920s and 1930s, including Otto Dix, Lyonel Feininger, and Emil Nolde.
Visitors can explore the gallery Tuesday through Friday from noon until 6:00 PM and Saturdays from noon until 2:00 PM.
The gallery maintains a specialized focus on representational art from the Classical Modern period while also promoting international contemporary artists.
