Wings Museum

The Wings Museum occupies a converted farm building and displays World War II aircraft, equipment, and flying memorabilia that have been restored by dedicated volunteers. The collection brings together rare military aircraft and aviation artifacts from that era.

The museum began at Redhill Aerodrome and later moved to its current location at Brantridge Lane, where it expanded its collection of rare military aircraft and artifacts from the 1940s. The relocation marked an important phase in the institution's development.

The museum works closely with veterans and hosts regular events where their experiences and memories from World War II aviation are shared and preserved. Visitors encounter personal stories that bring human perspective to this historical period.

The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday and welcomes visitors during standard opening hours. The space is laid out for easy navigation, so you can walk through the displays without any special preparation.

The collection includes a Douglas C-47 Dakota fuselage that was used during filming of the television series Band of Brothers, and visitors can explore it from the inside. This connection to a well-known historical production makes the artifact particularly meaningful.
