This four-screen cinema complex occupies a Victorian building that presents current films and special screenings throughout the day from morning until late evening.
The structure began as an aquarium in 1875, transformed into a theater in 1883, and started showing films in 1914 before becoming the Royal Aquarium cinema in 1920.
The cinema maintains regular programs for different audience segments, including parent-baby sessions, senior screenings, and subtitled shows for hearing-impaired viewers.
The cinema operates daily between 10:30 AM and 11:15 PM, offering online ticket reservations, concession stands, and parking facilities in the surrounding area.
After facing closure in 2019, Arc Cinema group invested millions in renovations, adding recliner seats and modern sound systems to revitalize this entertainment venue.
