The Church Studios

The Church Studios is a recording studio in London's Crouch End with three distinct spaces for music production. The facility combines vintage mixing consoles with modern digital technology for professional recording work.

The building dates to 1855 and originally served as a church before being transformed decades later. In the 1980s, Dave Stewart of Eurythmics converted it into a recording studio, giving it new life.

The place has hosted musicians working across many styles, from pop to electronic music, shaping how people experience recorded sound today. Visitors can feel the creative energy that has moved through these rooms over the decades.

The studio is reasonably close to central London and accessible by public transport from nearby areas. The rooms are equipped with everything musicians need for recording sessions and professional sound work.

The main room houses a distinctive 72-channel mixing console from the 1970s that remains in active use. This vintage piece of equipment is rarely found still operating in modern studios.
