Grow Heathrow, Community garden and squatter house in Sipson, England
The occupants have transformed a neglected plot into a productive garden space, growing vegetables and maintaining greenhouses for food production.
Established in 2010, the residents cleared 30 tonnes of waste from the derelict site, converting it into a self-sufficient community space.
The garden functions within a gift economy system, where resources and knowledge about sustainable living practices are freely shared among community members.
Visitors can participate in workshops covering permaculture design, bicycle maintenance, and woodworking skills at the community space.
Protesters have constructed underground tunnels and attached themselves to structures, including a wind turbine tower, to resist eviction attempts.
