Burlingtons Bar, Grade II listed bar in St Annes, England.
Burlingtons Bar sits in the basement of the Town House on St Annes Road West, with ceramic tiles covering the walls and bar counter throughout the interior. The room retains its original layout and the craftsmanship typical of the period when it was first built.
It was built in 1895 as part of the St Annes Hotel complex and survived when the hotel was demolished in 1985. The basement rooms remained untouched, preserving their original Victorian-era structure.
The bar serves as a social gathering point for the local community, preserving the traditional public house culture within its Victorian-era architectural setting.
The location is near the Lancashire coast in St Annes and easy to find. Visitors can enjoy drinks and snacks here or book the space for private events and gatherings.
The bar features one of very few surviving ceramic-tiled bar counters made by the Craven Dunnill pottery company. These handcrafted tile installations from that era are now scarce in pubs across Britain.
