Brick Train, Brick sculpture in Morton Palms, England.

The Brick Train stands 7 meters high and 29 meters long, constructed from 185,000 Accrington Nori bricks forming a steam locomotive shape.

Completed in 1997 by artist David Mach, this structure represents the Mallard locomotive that established a speed record of 126 miles per hour in 1938.

The sculpture reflects Darlington's strong connection to railway development, marking the region's role in transportation advancement during the Industrial Revolution.

Located near the A66 road and Morrison's supermarket parking area, visitors can examine the structure from multiple angles throughout the day.

The structure incorporates specially designed hollow bricks that create spaces where bats enter and establish their roosting locations.
