Snow World

Snow World is an indoor theme park in Hyderabad, India, offering facilities with artificial snow. The site includes sledding slopes, an ice rink, and play areas maintained at sub-zero temperatures year-round.

The facility opened in 2004 as the first of its kind in the city and brought artificial snow to a tropical metropolis. It was part of the development of new recreational options in Hyderabad during the 2000s.

The name of the park combines the English word for snow with a globally understood term for theme parks. Visitors find ice sculptures and recreated mountain scenes that are otherwise absent in the region.

The facility offers seven sessions per day between 11 AM and 9 PM and provides warm clothing. Visitors should prepare for a temperature change and wear closed shoes.

The site keeps snow cannons running continuously to maintain fresh material and ensure an even surface. Children and adults experience snowball fights and building snowmen while outside temperatures often exceed 104°F (40°C).
