Schtroumpfeur

Schtroumpfeur is a steel roller coaster at Plopsa Coo that extends across 570 meters of track and features a Vekoma MK-700 model with a chain lift system. The ride takes guests through Gargamel's castle, where they embark on a mission to rescue captured Smurfs.

The ride opened in 1989 and was originally called Halvar before being renamed Coaster and later receiving its current Smurf-themed name. The rebranding reflected a shift toward incorporating Belgian comic characters into the park's attractions.

The name references Smurfs, characters from Belgian comics created by Peyo, which come to life in the ride's theming. Visitors experience a story centered on these beloved figures as they move through the attraction.

Children must measure between 0.96 and 1.40 meters to access the ride, making it suitable for kids of mid-range heights. A lap bar restraint system secures passengers throughout the experience.

The coaster winds through forest landscapes along its route, creating an experience different from typical theme park rides. This natural setting adds a distinctive quality to the thrill for visitors seeking something beyond standard amusement park fare.
