The Legion of Honor Park extends across green lawns with walking paths, children's play areas, and art installations throughout its grounds.
The park grounds were initially part of the Saint-Denis Abbey before becoming the location of the Legion of Honor Education House in later years.
The park maintains a collection of bronze sculptures, including the 1895 knight Bayard statue created by artist Aristide Croisy in square Mialaret.
The park operates with seasonal hours, opening at 7:00 AM and closing between 6:30 PM in winter months and 9:00 PM during summer.
Each April, thousands of tulips emerge throughout the park during the annual Tulip Festival, transforming the landscape into a display of colors.
