Sea Hags Bar and Grill, Waterfront restaurant in St. Pete Beach, United States.
Sea Hags Bar and Grill was a waterfront dining spot in St. Pete Beach with indoor seating and a covered tiki bar overlooking the marina. The restaurant sat along Blind Pass Road and served food and drinks to guests wanting to eat near the water.
The building started out in the 1950s as a fishing shack before being transformed into a restaurant. The place operated for around 15 years before closing its doors in June 2023.
Local musicians performed regularly here, and the place had a resident cat named Socks who became part of the daily life and routine of customers visiting the bar.
Parking was available in a lot next to the restaurant for visitors arriving by car. The staff worked through the final day and accepted different payment options for guests.
A company called Ping Pong Partners bought the property in 2021 intending to turn it into a condominium resort. This acquisition set the stage for the restaurant's eventual closure and transformation of the waterfront site.
