Deutsche Raumfahrtausstellung Morgenröthe-Rautenkranz e.V.

The Deutsche Raumfahrtausstellung exhibits more than 1000 items related to space exploration, including spacecraft models, instruments, and interactive displays across two floors.

Founded in the birthplace of Dr. Sigmund Jähn, the first German cosmonaut who went to space in 1978, this museum documents the evolution of space travel.

The museum maintains partnerships with German, Russian, and American space organizations, displaying personal items from international astronauts and cosmonauts.

Located at Dr.-Sigmund-Jähn-Str in Muldenhammer, the museum operates Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with adult admission at 9 euros.

Visitors can examine a training module from the MIR space station where European space travelers completed their initial preparation for missions.
