Radisson Blu Resort, Bukovel
Radisson Blu Resort, Bukovel is a four-star hotel set in the Ukrainian Carpathians, close to the Bukovel ski area. The building has rooms with balconies, two restaurants, and an indoor and outdoor area with a pool, spa, and fitness facilities.
Bukovel grew from a small mountain village into one of the largest ski areas in Ukraine during the 2000s. The resort was built as part of that expansion, designed from the start to serve both winter and summer visitors.
Bukovel is known across Ukraine as the main destination for winter sports in the Carpathians, and the resort sits at the center of that activity. In summer, the same slopes attract hikers and mountain bikers, so the place shifts its rhythm with the seasons rather than going quiet.
The resort is within walking distance of several ski lifts, which makes getting to the slopes straightforward in winter. On-site rentals for bicycles and horses are available, and the surrounding paths can also be covered on foot without difficulty.
The ski runs that cross the hillsides in winter are converted into marked mountain bike trails in summer, so the terrain is used in two entirely different ways across the year. This makes the resort one of the few places in the Carpathians where the same slopes serve completely different activities depending on the season.
