Oskarshausen is a theme park in Freital featuring more than 50 different attractions spread across its grounds. The park includes a 16-meter freefall tower, an indoor play center, and various rides suitable for children and families.
The entertainment complex opened in October 2018 on the former site of a supermarket. Construction took only eight months to complete before the park welcomed its first visitors.
The facility offers creative workshops where visitors can practice textile printing, pottery painting, and woodworking in dedicated spaces.
The grounds are well-organized with clear paths between different areas, making navigation straightforward. Visitors can move freely through open spaces, while individual attractions require separate tickets or passes.
A 750 square meter illusion exhibition features over 50 optical installations where visitors can capture unusual photographs. This section offers a break from the rides and allows for playful exploration of visual phenomena.
