Rajbari Food Court, Food court in Bashundhara Residential Area, Dhaka, Bangladesh
Rajbari Food Court is a modern dining facility in the Bashundhara Residential Area with 16 separate food vendors offering more than 200 different dishes across multiple cuisines. The layout allows visitors to choose from different vendors and order according to their preferences from the available stalls.
The opening of this food court behind the Grameen Phone Center marked a shift in Dhaka's dining culture from traditional street food to organized indoor food halls. This change reflected how the city adapted to create modern spaces where different food options could be centralized.
The menu mirrors local food traditions by offering Bangladesh specialties such as doi fuchka alongside international choices like burgers and fried rice. Visitors can sample different tastes in one location and experience how daily dining habits blend familiar and new flavors.
The facility operates daily from 11 AM to 11 PM and provides parking for visitors. It works best to visit during peak hours when all vendors are active and the full selection is available.
The interior features graffiti art on the walls and includes entertainment machines like claw games that create an informal dining space for younger visitors. This mix of food and entertainment transforms the place into more than just a restaurant.
