Veles e Vents

Veles e Vents is a four-story concrete building with angled walls and horizontal platforms that reach over the Mediterranean, forming terraces with views toward the marina and coastline. The structure houses restaurants and event spaces designed to connect visitors with the waterfront setting.

The building was constructed in 2007 when Valencia prepared to host a major international sailing competition. Renowned architects designed it to serve as the official venue for this significant sporting event.

The venue bears its name from a historical Valencian poem and functions as a gathering place for art exhibitions, music performances, and theatrical events. Today, people experience contemporary creativity through the rotating shows and cultural programs that take place throughout the year.

The site includes multiple restaurants with varying hours and ample parking nearby. Visitors should note that the terraces are best enjoyed when the weather is clear, and arrival during quieter hours may offer a more relaxed experience.

The interior design creates the sensation of standing on a ship's deck overlooking the water below. The building also houses a highly acclaimed restaurant that has gained international recognition for its culinary approach.
