Mason's Grill
Mason's Grill is an American restaurant on Jefferson Highway serving burgers, gumbo, fried shrimp, and breakfast dishes with Southern and Cajun influences. The building has a casual interior with TVs on the walls and a small outdoor seating area.
The restaurant opened in 1998 and became known for hearty food and friendly service over more than two decades. New owners Robert and Christina Alamirie undertook a major renovation in 2022 to modernize the space while keeping its welcoming character.
The restaurant draws locals who gather here regularly for meals and social time. Local artworks and Louisiana-inspired decor elements shape the feeling of the space and reflect the region's character.
The restaurant opens at 9 in the morning and gets busy on weekends for brunch and lunch service. Reservations are accepted, and takeout and delivery options are available for those who prefer to eat at home.
The Cajun Shrimp Burger was voted the best burger in Louisiana by Food Network and Zagat and remains a signature dish. The restaurant also serves a house-made Bloody Masons cocktail that regular customers especially enjoy.
