石牆仔內
Shiguanzai Nei is a restaurant serving local dishes housed in a century-old courtyard dwelling with a traditional layout. The building maintains its original timber and stonework structure, with different rooms now serving as dining areas and air conditioning added for comfort.
The dwelling was built more than a century ago and has maintained its original structure and character since then. The transition to restaurant use is relatively recent, expanding the function of the space while keeping its historical appearance intact.
The name comes from the ancient stone walls that form the structure of the building and remain visible today. The space functions as a place where local cuisine is served within traditional surroundings that reflect rural Taiwanese heritage.
The restaurant is accessible from the main road through a narrow lane and has parking available on the property and nearby. Visitors are advised to contact the establishment in advance to check availability and make arrangements before coming.
On clear days, visitors can see blooming cherry blossoms on the opposite hillside from the back porch, particularly during spring flowering season. This gives diners a rare chance to enjoy traditional food in a setting that visibly changes with the seasons.
